If you think like the world, and you speak like the world, and you act like the world; then you are no different from the world, regardless of your “moral” position.
When you cherry-pick the attributes of Yeshua HaMeshiach that you like, when you choose for yourself which of the mitzvot (commandments) you will obey, when you selectively ignore those commandments that you do not like, understand, or are not willing to obey; then you have (re)created Yeshua in your own image… you have created an idol.
If it seems that a person just cannot see what the Scriptures say, even after reading the Word for themselves; it’s because they have been blinded… they truly cannot see what the Scriptures say.
You can always tell what the modern, worldly church believes by that which they accuse you of believing.
The true followers of Yeshua HaMeshiach cannot allow the words and/or actions of others to cause them to sin.
You can put a dress on a pig and call it your aunt, but that doesn’t make it your uncle’s wife… it’s still just a pig in a dress.
If you are willing to accept and/or teach one false doctrine or belief, you’ll be equally willing to accept and/or teach another.
Yeshua did not die so that you can be happy, healthy, wealthy, powerful, popular, sexually satisfied, and have a clean colon.
